In The Spark, we focus on structure and outlining for the big (and small) screen. Through Alex's unique layering of Save the Cat, The Hero's Journey and Dan Harmon's Story Circle, combined with the Henrikson T/F-Axis, you will learn to tackle outlining from a few different entry points. But most importantly, from a character's need.
You will outline (and begin writing) pilots, shorts, screenplays and even pitches.
As your Coach, Alex will challenge you to do your best while allowing you to make space for messy, creative play.
You will develop your voice, learn how to process notes, extend your imagination, learn from your fellow writers and walk away with an outline you can be proud of.
